Road Safety

We have been learning about road safety. We know how to sing the Safe Cross Code and had great fun drawing posters to help make others more aware of being safe on the road.

Maths Trail

This week is Maths Week and we have been having fun with Maths all week. Today we did a maths trail in the yard trying to find different shapes, lines and angles.

Give Racism the Red Card

Yesterday three people from the FAI came to teach us about racism. We do not accept racism in our class and we learned what we should do if we experience racism. We all got red wristband to show we are giving racism the red card.

Autumn

We have been learning about Autumn and we have brought in lots of things for our Nature Table. We are also celebrating the harvest.

Biodiversity Talk and Bug Hunt

On Tuesday the 7th of Oct we had a visitor from Seedsavers Ireland to talk to us about Biodiversity. We then went on a walk to the woods and we had a Bug Hunt. We had a great day.

Third Class Musicians

We are all working very hard at our tin whistle. The children are doing lots of practice and are really enjoying it. Well Done Third Class!!!!
