Science Day
The children thoroughly enjoyed Science Day on Friday. They felt so proud to present their experiments to their parents and the children from other classes. The boys and girls put a lot of work into their experiments. They also enjoyed doing some procedural writing when they were writing up the experiments. Thank you too all the parents who came and Well Done to everyone in the class.
Length
The children have been learning about Length this week and had great fun measuring in the classroom and out on a maths trail in the yard.
Science - Energy
We had a visitor from St. Brigid's Garden and the SEAI to teach us about Energy. The children loved playing lots of games and they learned about sustainable energy.
The Great Irish Famine
The children loved learning about the famine in History in January. The children created projects and had great fun displaying them in the classroom.
