Science

We learned about the three states of matter; solid, liquid and gas. The molecules are closely related to the form the state of matter takes. The molecules in solids are closely packed together and prevent much movement.

We experimented with density and liquids. Some liquids did not mix and therefore stacked on top of each other. Other liquids mixed and caused an irreversible chemical reaction.

Historic Buildings

Take a look at the fantastic projects completed by the pupils of 6th class. The subject is historic buildings of Ireland. The drawings are outstanding and the information accurate and interesting.

We are all connected

This activity showed us that we are all connected in some way. Everyone spoke about themselves, when someone shared an interest, characteristic, love, dislike, favorite, talent or anything they said the words “me too”. The wool was tossed to the “me too” while holding onto a piece
of the wool. We always celebrate our differences, this activity was nice to demonstrate we are connected in someway as one in the classroom.

The Finished Product!

Here are the finished products.. We hope you like them! :)

Can you guess who designed this room!?

Julia J came up with her own colour scheme for her bedroom. It looks so modern and vintage at the same time!

Pauline put her initials on her bedroom wall. It looks fantastic!

Rola wanted to have a place to chill out in her room, so she made herself a comfy  chair and rug to sit and lie on!

Alana even made herself a light to hang from the ceiling!

Dream Room Exhibition!

Bhíomar ag foghlaim faoi rudaí atá sa bhaile an seachtain seo sa rang Gaeilge. So, in art we decided to become interior designers and design our own dream bedrooms using clay and show boxes. Here is the beginning of our creations... We will update you when they are finished.... :)
